Would never return for a hair color! I went to get balayage done and to cover up some gray hair. I was told I need a root touch for gray hair even though I had only a hand full of gray hair but that’s okay. My first experience had been good, she took enough time and paid attention throughout, however after it was all done there wasn’t any difference overall may be Bcz of the color I picked so that’s also okay. My scalp was black from the root touch up. Then when I was done I noticed I still had a bunch of gray hair left on the inside and some in the crown area! After paying so much I was not satisfied so went to reve again to let them know. They were accommodating and gave me another appointment to fix it however my experience for the second visit was very bad. I was asked to come in with another client so waited with the color on for so long with no one to check on me. Anyway after it was all done, guess what I still had the same gray hair right in the crown. Now after 2 washes and about 10 days my hair is back to my previous color and is looking yellow and brassy!

I'm a high-paying long-term customer of 4-5 years with Reve. Before this year I only would rave and highly recommend this salon. Unfortunately this past year, that's not been the case. I find myself more of so saying “this is my last time coming here” and this time, I mean it! I don't know why and or what happened but since 2023 Reve has drastically gone downhill, in my opinion. The customer service is awful, and the prices are disgustingly high (for two boy haircuts I paid $130- for a buzz and trim) for services for myself, I never spend under $300. That's another thing, they are constantly trying to upsell me on everything! Set aside this, my biggest deal breakers started beginning of summer when I got a brow lamination. The Lady had no idea what she was doing & ignored my complaints of how bad the process burned she told me “It is what it is” Come to find out she gave me a chemical burn and I lost most of my eyebrows! I reached out to one of the owners about it and she dismissed my detailed “text message” complaint by saying “I'm not familiar with that service, so idk how it works” I'm not a confrontational person so I just dropped it & frankly felt too frustrated by the lack of concern from the owner. Fast forward to my service and the last deal breaker from last night. Took my boys in for cuts. Right off the rip, I told her my 11-year-old was quite the grump butt due to sneaking up the previous night & getting no sleep, etc. Told her this bc he barely responded to her when she asked what he wanted. I told her he wanted to do something different & told her exactly what it was we wanted- he piped in & said he didn't want it (yes he did, it was a month-long talk he had been planning on, but he was just being an ornery 12-year-old & wanted to get home to sleep) amongst ourselves I said to my son “I understand you're tired but it gives you no right to be rude & dismiss a haircut I scheduled for you” before I could finish she says to me “lets stop that” then took my son to cut his hair- the entire time she was shooting daggers at me, my oldest son was even questioning on why the stylist was being so passive aggressive. She gets done & has me look at his hair & It's seriously the worst haircut I've ever seen nor even close to what he wanted. my son hated it & started to cry he thought he looked so bad. I try calming him down & ask what it is he doesn't like about it & what she can do to fix it. He says “Nothing! It's ruined!” I asked her to fix it & why she didn't fade down his sides or do what I told her & she said well since he didn't want a haircut & you did, I thought I would compromise. I have no idea what she meant by that & why giving my son a haircut that either of us ever said he wanted was her way of “compromising” I asked her if she could fix it bc he clearly was upset as he was in tears- she looks at me & says “it's not the haircut that's the problem, the problem is he doesn't want the cut to begin with & I refuse to do anything more bc I felt like I was torturing him” I can't get over by the way she made me feel that entire time & by saying those things to me as if I'm this big monster for taking my kid to get him a nice hair cut- she seriously made me feel like scum. Then she cut my oldest son's hair & afterward, he told me she kept making remarks about “Why would your mom bring you here just for a buzz cut?” she has NO RIGHT to talk to me or my kids like she did.

Unfortunately I had to edit my previous 5 star review. This salon has definitely lost something. I had been going for hair, body, and facial services for years and years. The best providers keep leaving - turnover seems high. After the policy change of paying full price if you cancel within 48 hours, and now I am pre payment at time of booking (with no explanation) it is a bit ridiculous. Too bad, but I won't go there anymore, not when there are so many other salons around. They should probably reevaluate that policy if they don’t want to lose other long time customers.

I have been going to Reve for 19 years. I have been to several stylists over these years. They have all been great! Andrew is the best. He helped me in making a huge change that I love! All the stylists I have had over the years are 5 stars. Andrew is 5, stars and more! The reason for the 4 star rating is that in the 19 years I have been going to Reve, I never canceled, rescheduled , or no show no call until 1 time in 2021. I always rely on the reminder text and didn't receive one due to a glitch in their system. I take responsibility for me not having the appointment in my calendar and had no problem paying the stylist for the appointment I missed. When I called to schedule another appointment, I was asked to pre pay. No problem. I now find out that I am now must prepay for all of my new appointments. I am on the prepay list. Really, there is a list? After 19 years, only missing 1 appointment. I have not decided if I will be returning. The way it was handled when I was making the appointment in person wasn't handled professionally, in my opinion. I understand stylist need to be paid for missed appointments. I feel being on a list is a punishment when only missing 1 appointment in 19 years. Maybe just ask to have a card on file in case the appointment is missed. Just left a bad taste....
